A new reggae one drop compilation dubbed 'Rokwondrop' is creating a sensation in reggae music circles because of the great songs and powerful messages delivered by the artistes.

The standout song on the rhythm is Versatile, a collaboration between Kybaka Pyramid and I Wayne, which is a song carved in reggae oak: solid.

I Wayne criticises the 'clash culture' and the trend of retaliation, contention and one-upmanship between artistes that has recently dominated the music industry. I Wayne warns the youths to be versatile and not to pick up 'Rome dirty style'.

Reggae artiste G'ovany is simply brilliant on No Cameo. The singer infuses the song with incredible passion and conviction as he weaves a story about struggle and spirituality in the face of great odds.

Reggae legend Luciano shows that he is still the Messenjah by decrying the lyrical content of the songs dominating mainstream radio today and the mindless focus on sex and drugs and violence.

Rasta firebrand Fantan Mojah delivers the spiritually rich No One Knows with great passion as he sings about a coming judgment, while newcomer Spring Water shows incredible promise with Hold Firm.

"This Rokwondrop is our first major compilation album. It is a smooth authentic reggae vibe featuring five great songs. Despite what they say, reggae is alive and well," producer-artiste G'ovany, who has performed in Africa, England, South America, Europe and the Caribbean, said.
