Body found in Riverton City

Detectives attached to the Kingston and St Andrew Major Investigations Taskforce (MIT) are seeking the public's assistance in identifying the body of a male that was found with gunshot wounds near Brighton Avenue, Riverton City, Kingston 11 on Thursday, March 13.

The body was found about 7 a.m.

It is believed to be in its early 30s, of brown complexion, medium build and is about 167 centimetres (5 feet 6 inches) long. It was clad in a grey T-shirt, blue jeans pants, and a pair of white Air Force sneakers.

Anyone who can assist investigators in identifying the body is asked to contact the Kingston and St. Andrew MIT at 922-5344, police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station.
