A 15-year-old boy charged with the murder of a Jamaican teen in Hackney, London, at a party last Saturday, is scheduled to reappear in court today after being remanded following a brief court appearance on Monday.

The deceased,15-year-old schoolgirl Shereka Fab-Ann Marsh, died at a house in Eastway, Hackney, east of the capital, on Saturday afternoon after being shot in the neck.

According to www.mirror.co.uk, the boy, 15, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, appeared at Stratford Youth Court charged with murder. He wore a grey fleece and tracksuit bottom, and spoke only to confirm his personal details during the short hearing on Monday.

He is to appear at Snaresbrook Crown Court today.

It is believed that Marsh was accidentally shot while an antique firearm was being shown to a group.

Shereka was pronounced dead at the scene of the incident shortly after 4 p.m.

Marsh is described by her peers as fun-loving, kind, and a lover sports.

THE STAR gathered that Shereka was among specially selected students who were recently asked to give high-profile visitors, including Jamaica's High Commissioner Aloun Assamba, a tour of her school.
