Fast-rising reggae singer Tom Laing recently collaborated with veteran dancehall artiste Capleton on the remake of Laing's 2008 single, 'Belly of the Beast'.

"I recorded and released Belly of the Beast a few years ago. It's a very good song, I love it a lot, but I wasn't satisfied with the original production, so I decided to re-record it. After we did the second version of Belly of the Beast, I felt it needed something more to make it even stronger. So I reached out to Capleton. When he listened to it, he loved it and decided to do the collaboration."

Belly of the Beast is the third single to be released off Tom Laing's debut album, which is slated to be released later this year.

"We are currently servicing the song to radio in Jamaica, focusing on the radio and street promotions in Jamaica. When everything is fully up and running, then we will service it to the international markets," said Laing.

Another of Laing's singles, One More Thing, continues to enjoy popularity on a number of charts, including the Jamaica Music Countdown Top 25 Reggae Singles, where it is currently in the number-two position.

"I am very happy and thankful for the success of One More Thing. Since it was released last year, it has received a lot of support from DJs all over the world. It has also touched every major reggae chart," he said.
