Black Mattic travels TIME with new mixtape

Black Mattic

International dancehall pop artiste, Black Mattic, has released a new spanking single titled Work Too Hard, which will lead the rapjay's much anticipated mixtape TIME (Time Is My Enemy).

The single was recorded and mixed at Black Mattic's Official Hitz Music Group (OHMG) studio, by the label's in-house producer Di Architect.

The mixtape, which is the Jamaican's first after the success of his previous project titled Kingston 11 in 2012, is set to be released mid April and made available internationally via iTunes etc.

TIME is built around motivation and independence with 60 per cent of it being produced by Di Architect, who serves as Black Mattic's alter ego in the capacity of a music producer.

An estimated 12-15 tracks will be featured on the mixtape which includes songs like Warrior, Jamaica Love and Love Is Gone. The artiste, who now resides in New York, believes that TIME is his best studio effort, despite the worldwide successes of his most-recognisable track, Superstar.

"An enormous amount of work, time and energy was invested in this project. The feedback so far tells me that TIME will surpass my previous bests," said Black Mattic, whose name is Kenich Lee.

There are plans, according to the former Norman Manley high student, to release a 'major worldwide' single, titled Around The World and features top Swedish artiste Frida Dee. The single will be distributed by Capitols Records.

"The song with me and Frida Dee will take the world by storm but fans can, in the meantime, get acquainted with TIME because a lot of quality music will come from that mix tape," he said.
