New date for Hennessy Red Carpet VIP

Brian 'Bry Bry' Johnson - File

Despite a date change, the promoter for Hennessy Red Carpet VIP has come out assuring patrons that it will be affecting absolutely nothing about the increasingly popular event when it takes place at Oneil's Place, St Andrew.

In fact, the promoter, known to most as 'Bry Bry', said due to an overwhelming amount of requests, he decided to move the date from the usual March 22 to April 20, which, according to him, will benefit the numerous patrons flying in for the Easter holidays.

"A lot of persons overseas miss the event over the years because it is very difficult to fly twice in such a short span between the original date and the Easter holidays, which they normally use for vacation," said the promoter, real name Brian Johnson.

However, he expects an even bigger outcome at his event, which is in its 10th staging. Johnson has promised a high-octane type of experience with the likes of Glen Stinger, ZJ Liquid, Boom Boom, Bumpy Cash, and Snipa International set to control things at the turntables.

Lots of giveaways for ticket holders, live video, and photo taking for patrons' likening are just a few of the attractions outlined by Johnson, also a member of the Standpipe Family.

"There will be plenty of giveaways for the patrons. I am urging everyone to bring their A-wear to be pictured and videoed all night," he said.

The event is also sponsored by Wray & Nephew Overproof Rum, Lil Wayne, and Clive W. Coke Custom Brokers.
