Don Husky launches new mix tape

Don Husky has expressed great optimism over the success of his recently released mix tape titled Road.

Road, hosted by popular selector Foota Hype and mixed by ZJ Wah Wa, is the latest studio effort released by the fast-rising deejay, who is currently assigned to Downsound Records (DSR).

Thousands of copies of the 24-track project have already been distributed across the 14 parishes, part of a massive islandwide street promotion as the young deejay looks to cement his place as a formidable force on the music landscape.

The mix tape features Streets Of Jamaica and his current hit song On And On. The latter currently holds the number-two spot on CVM's Hit List dancehall charts, with the former generating a crazy buzz in several key dancehall circles.

On And On is also posted on miamitelevision.com and ran in last week's episode of their TV show which is beamed via the Punch TV Network to more than 29 cities in the United States.

The song is also a remake of American rapper Meek Mills' hit Dreams And Nightmares.

Road, produced by DSR, highlights Don Husky's maturity at his craft for a young artiste. The deejay, real name Rushane Brown, is banking on his most recent project to further heighten his case of achieving music immortality.

"I have big dreams in music, and I know that I can achieve them. The mix tape has a lot of quality and I know the streets will love it. This is one of the many materials I am bringing to the public," he said.
