'Cheerleader' available on iTunes

OMI - File

Gaining popularity and a huge fan base throughout the Caribbean, Hawaii, Canada, Dubai and other countries, Jamaica-born-and-raised crooner Omi busted on the musical scene with his self-penned song, hit single 'Cheerleader'.

Discovered by Clifton 'Specialist' Dillon, who is known for developing artistes such as Shabba Ranks, Patra and Omi, recently signed with Ultra Music, the label formed by former Polygram and Virgin Records executive, Patrick Moxey.

Acclaimed billboard producer Ricky Blaze breathed new life and gave a new sound to Cheerleader by remixing it and giving it a multi-genre sound Ricky is known for, a blend of reggae and dancehall with a hint of soca and dance music.

The single will be available on iTunes this week.
