Lexikhan drops 'Clean Remix'

Boss Lady Entertainment artiste Lexikhan is gunning for the top spot with his latest single, 'Clean Remix', a rollicking feel-good monster of a party song that has generated a lot of heat and attention in St Ann. He is the newest dancehall sensation from Ocho Rios.

"Right now, ah one of the hottest songs inna St Ann. Irie FM deejays Ashile, DJ Wayne, Matrix, Big A and Digital Chris ah gimme a big strength. Richie Pooh from Frenz FM in West Palm Beach is playing the song as well. We have just started shooting the video and it will be out within the next

two weeks. Every major sound system and selector in St Ann is playing Clean Remix. mi do crazy dubs for it so far, so mi feel confident in this song," Lexikhan said.

He first gained recognition with a song How Mi Clean Suh. Released last year by Status Records on the 'Jamaica Clean' rhythm. This club banger gave him mainstream attention.

"This year will be my year to make a mark," the artiste, who was born Miguel Henry, said.

Born and raised in Ocho Rios, Lexikhan was influenced by popular artistes such as Beenie Man and Sizzla Kalonji while growing up. Now he is firmly focused on carving out a niche for himself.

The artiste is currently working on an album for the Ocho Rios-based label, Junkyard Music. He will perform on the St Ann Kite Festival and the St Mary Agricultural Expo during the upcoming Easter holidays.
