Reggae singer Ginjah delivered an impressive performance at the second annual West Awards last Sunday at Kokonut Grooves in Savanna-la-Mar, Westmoreland.

Introduced on stage by MC, Elise Kelly, of IRIE FM after midnight, Ginjah kicked off his set with his ever-popular hit, Never Lost My Way, which elicited huge forwards from the audience. This was followed by a very soulful rendition of Music Alone, before he delivered the monster hit, Sweet Killer, which nearly brought the house down.

Before closing off his set with the inspiring Prayer, Ginjah took time out to introduce two new tracks, Nuh Wah We Go Through and the controversial Insider (Police Man Story), which had the crowd in stitches.

"It was a very nice vibe at the West Awards. I really enjoyed that performance a lot. Every song I performed was well received by the audience. I'm really looking forward to performing in Westmoreland again very soon," said Ginjah.

Ginjah is currently preparing for the release of his sophomore album, Urge For Love, which was produced by California-based producer, Jungle Josh. Urge For Love will be released on April 15 by Zojack.

"My album will be out on the 15th. It's a very good album, and I want all my fans to support the album by buying it," said the artiste.
