Billed as a fund-raising worship concert that endeavours to tap into the power of Jesus Christ, 'Come Mek Wi Praise Him', promises patrons an atmosphere filled with high-impact praise and worship.

"It's going to be all about enjoying and tuning in to the spirit of God. Patrons can come and know that they will be truly tapping into God, based on the artistes we have selected," said spokesperson of the concert, Davia Hutton.

Gospel artistes Jermaine Edwards, Rondell Positive, Sister Scully and I-Worship, among many others, are scheduled to grace the stage during this soul-stirring event, the proceeds of which will go towards the church-building and community-development fund.

The concert, which is orchestrated by the Parks Road New Testament Church of God, will be held this Saturday at the church's district church, Clifton New Testament Church of God, Manning's Hill Road, beginning at 6 p.m. Admission is $800.

"During the different breaks in the concert, we are going to have giveaway baskets and other niceties," Hutton pointed out.

She also mentioned that the Jamaica Urban Transit Company will extend services on that route until midnight.

"This concert will surpass all expectation. It's all about ministry and saving souls for the kingdom of God," she added.
