Recording artiste Tom Laing is feeling very positive about his single 'Belly of the Beast,' featuring topflight deejay Capleton.

The hard-hitting reggae track was released a few weeks ago and is enjoying heavy rotation on a number of top local radio stations including IRIE FM and HITZ 92 FM.

"This song is a winner. It's only been out about three weeks now and it's getting a lot of support. The DJs love it and the fans love it too. a lot of people have told me it's one of the best reggae collaborations they've heard in a long time," said the artiste.

The New York-based singer from Trench Town is optimistic that Belly of the Beast will be a major hit.

"I think this song has the potential to be very huge in the reggae arena on an international level. That's why my team and I are doing everything to push it, and Capleton and his team is also giving us a lot of support," Laing explained.

The artiste is making arrangements to shoot the video for Belly of the Beast.

"We are preparing to shoot the video very soon, the director has already submitted the treatment. Once my team and Capleton's team approve everything, it's a go. We should be able to shoot it and have it out before the end of May."
