Accused clothes thief gets bail extension

A man accused of stealing articles of clothing off a clothes line had his bail extended when he appeared before the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court on Tuesday.

He is Gavcolty Williams who pleaded guilty to the simple larceny charge.

The court heard that on the day in question, the accused wandered into the complainant's yard making off with several pieces of clothing.

Resident Magistrate Georgianna Fraser has ordered the man to return to court on May 19 for sentencing. A fingerprint order was also made.
