Telecommunications giant LIME brought life to the Denbigh high school with a host of excitement, recently.

The Clarendon based high school was the winning school in the LIME Epic Event all-expense-paid barbeque event text-to-win competition.

LIME Ambassadors Donald 'Ice Man' Anderson and Pretty Boy Floyd played hosts for the event, held on Saturday, April 26, 2014. The two kept the vibe going while selectors ZJ Wah Wa and Megatron provided vibrant musical selections.

The entertainment line-up for this all-expense-paid barbecue event also featured dancehall sensations QQ and LIME ambassador Konshens, who both delivered high-energy performances.

A few supporters of this event who were bold enough to take on the on-stage challenges, from strutting their stuff, to the phone competition, walked away with brand- new handsets and goodie bags courtesy of the telecommunications company.

"We are extremely excited to receive this prize from LIME. It also comes at a time when we are working towards getting a long-overdue school bus. This opportunity is very well timed and will go a long way in helping us to reach the target," stated Kasan Troupe, principal of the Denbigh High School.

The event received an impressive turnout in support of the fund-raising initiative from students, parents and well-wishers of the institution, including Member of parliament for Central Clarendon, Mike Henry, and councillor Joel Williams.
