Mikki Ras under new management

Fast-rising deejay Mikki Ras was in fine form when he performed at the recent Linkage Awards Show at the Evander Childs high school in Bronx, New York.

Performing songs such as Gwaan A School,Music is Life and Free Water Way, he made a good impression on the large audience that turned out for the event.

"Performing at the Linkage Awards was a very good experience for me. It was my first time performing at this event. I'm happy that my performance was appreciated by the audience," he said.

The hard-working deejay, who hails from the parish of Clarendon, is now signed to the US-based record label, Front Yaad Productions.

"Now that I am signed and working with a professional team, I am in a position to go forward with my career and take it all the way to the top."

Mikki Ras is now managed by Gary 'Biggs' Ranking, who is the former road manager for dancehall star I-Octane.

"Biggs is a very good manager. He's very disciplined and serious about the business. He also has a lot of contacts and he knows the business. I'm confident that under his guidance, my career will flourish," said Mikki Ras.

Mikki Ras is booked to perform on a number of upcoming events in the United States, including the Best of the Best Memorial Day Concert, which is slated to take place on July 25 at the Bay Front, downtown Miami. The following day, he is scheduled to perform at the Oracabessa Fest at Roy Wilkinson Park in Queens, New York.
