Ra Deal

Big Dreams Productions recording artiste, RaDeal, released a video for his latest single, 'Take Myself Away', last week to rave reviews.

"The people dem love the video, a lot of people ah say they love the concept and the video clean, so mi ah get positive feedback all over, and mi a hear Take Myself Away more pon the radio as well, since the fans dem start see it often on CVM Plus, it ah gwaan on HYPE TV, and other cable stations start take it up. A couple of shows are coming up in the pipeline as well," Ra Deal said.

The video was directed by Marshall Artz Studios.

In the meantime, the singer has continued to aggressively promote his music on the radio. RaDealhas been getting airplay for singles such as Born To Be Free, Rough Times and Private Party.

"We plan to shoot other videos over the summer to turn up the promotion even higher," he said.

The artiste's album, Born To Be Free, is available online, and features standout songs such as the unapologetic Nuh Time, which attacks the pagan system and defends the tenets of Rastafarianism and Stick N Stones.

RaDealfirst came to prominence three years ago with the acapella song, 4 a.m, which tells the story of police brutality because of marijuana possession. That song won him a cult underground following in the reggae community. Last year, he inked a new management and recording contract with US-based independent label Big Dreams Productions, and he feels this power move will realise immediate dividends.

"Mi just a keep working hard and pray even harder everyday. Right now, my new manager Sikona Blagrove has a vision for Ra Deal and Big Dreams Productions and together, we ah go shake the world," he said.
