World of Fun on Labour Day weekend

On May 24 and 25, the Tiger Mart in May Pen, Clarendon, will be transformed into a hub of entertainment when the two-tiered event, World of Fun, invades the venue.

The events on the World of Fun roster are 'Extreme Family Funday' (May 24) and 'The Ultimate Water Party' (May 25). Both are set to bring quality entertainment value to Clarendon.

The 'one-of-a-kind' event in this region of the island is already hot on the lips of many.

The Extreme Family Funday will feature a host of attractions for both children and adults. Among them are the world's largest water slide, the Wave of Fire, foam pits, Ferris wheels, pools, obstacle courses, merry-go-rounds, a magic show, a transformers show, and the Jamaican Michael Jackson.

Patrons will be entertained musically by Splash International Sound, SJ Fire Wayne, and DJ Triple C.

The following day, The Ultimate Water Party will bring an up-tempo, action-packed event to the venue.

Patrons will be showered with streams of water while partying to the tunes being spun by the disc jocks.

"When patrons come to World of Fun, they will experience a whole new level of fun. It's a two-part event: The family fun day on May 24 and the water party on May 25. It's something different and will be the biggest of its kind in this region of the island. The pricing is just right and affordable, so all should come out and have a great time," said a member of the event's promotional team.

The family fun day attracts a cost of $500 for adults, while children are free before 11 a.m., and $250 after. A $1,000 ride-inclusive package is also available.

The water party, which begins at 9 p.m., will cost $500 to enter, with a 'ladies-2-for-1' special available before 10 p.m.
