Suh Sick creates waves with 'Up Up Up'

From since he was a student at the Pembroke Hall High School, Alex Campbell knew that music was what he wanted to pursue as a career.

Campbell, who now records under the moniker Suh Sick, is from Duhaney Park, Kingston 20. He has been attracting attention with his debut single Up Up Up.

Up Up Up was produced by Panta Son Muzic, the label that he has been working with since 2009.

"Music has always been in me. I have been around it for a while, hanging out at studios such as Shocking Vibes and being around artistes like Konshens and Aidonia. The interest only built up more from there," Suh Sick shared.

Describing himself as a fashion icon and a promoter, Suh Sick has been a member of the dancehall trendsetting outfit called Stain Dem Crew.

From a small family, Suh Sick says he tries to keep it real in what he does and how he relates to people. "I keep it real. That's what I am bringing to the table: just being me and expressing myself. that's what sets me apart from the competition," he said.

The deejay has other songs waiting to be unleashed, including Change Yuh Life, Dancehall, and Floss. He is also working on a project for the Coreville Gardens-based Bad Beans Records.

Suh Sick has performed at events in Jamaica and overseas.
