Reggae music has a new player in the game that is set to take the genre by storm this summer.

The My Voice rhythm has been officially released and so far only positive comments have been made about the project.

Last Wednesday saw the launch of this project at the new weekly series Remy Wednesdays, at Gee Wee Restaurant in Kingston. Frankie Music productions, the producer of the rhythm, was very pleased with the support of fans as well as industry players who turned out to hear the new project.

The rhythm features songs from Wayne Wonder, Christopher Martin, Ginjah, Chevaughn, Voicemail, Torch, Javada, Mackeehan, Shuga, Demarco and Omari.

Frankie Music has been a prominent player in the industry for a little more than six years, producing memorable material from Reggae and dancehall greats in addition to those on his current project including Raging Fyah, Konshens, Beenie Man, TOK, Alaine, and many others.

"The riddim project has been in the making for a few years but it wasn't ready for the world until now, nothing happens before its time," Comar 'Frankie' Campbell of Frankie Music reasoned

The launch event also saw the music video premiere for Konshens' Music single from his upcoming Hotel Room album. The single was also produced by Frankie Music. The video, directed by RD Studios, was shot at various events worldwide where Konshens has had the opportunity to perform. The visuals show the artiste's and his team's interaction with fans off stage and his performances.

Konshens introduced the video at the launch stating the single and video depicts exactly how he feels about music.

Both the My Voice rhythm project and the Music video will enjoy additional promotion heading into the summer.
