Tifa silences critics
Shereita Grizzle, STAR Writer

With the recent switch from Headline Entertainment to Solid Agency, many critics have been questioning the stability of recording artiste Tifa's career.

However, following her performance at the recently concluded Best of the Best concert, Tifa sought to let her fans know that she has not gone anywhere.

"I've been working a lot. I have released about eight or nine songs since the year started and (there's) more to come," she said.

The artiste also started shooting the highly anticipated video for the single Bak It Up on Wednesday in Los Angeles. The video she said will be directed by Ben Marc.

Videos for Body Up, and Out Of This World (Sex Mate Medley) are also slated to be completed over the next few months. She also said that whenever it seems she has fallen off the radar, it only means she is working. "There is always a calm before the storm so when you hear mi quiet, things a gwaan".

Tifa's current releases include This Love (Barbwiya Music), which features Yahsha and projects from Chimney and Anchor Records.

In February, the dancehall diva split from Headline Entertainment, with which she had been working for five years. Solid Agency is now the artiste's sole and exclusive booking agent.
