International singer Teri has teamed up with New York-based producer Fitzroy Francis to release her first single for 2014, a rendition of Sam Cooke's 'Bring It On Home To Me', by the late great American artiste, Sam Cooke.

The song, produced by Francis' Mightyful13 Records, will officially be released shortly, but is said to be already creating a stir on radios in the US and across the world. It is being distributed worldwide by VPAL.

Terri, who lives in Toronto, Canada, grew up admiring the works of the all-time American singing great, known to most as the 'king of souls', for his distinctive vocal abilities.

"I've always loved listening Sam's music. He is one of the great singers that influenced me to music, hence this rendition. The song is getting a lot of love at the moment, which I am very grateful for because a lot of work was put into this project," Teri said.

She also has six singles released on iTunes - Whispery Conversation, My Everything, Beautiful Hurts, Not Just Another Girl, I'm Free and Put It On Me, featuring Lego Banton.

She was introduced to Francis, New York Foundation Radio's Producer of the Year, via D Boss Global Agency. The two clicked immediately.

"Fitzroy is such a professional who understands a lot about the business. I see us doing a lot of wonderful works in the near future. I am very elated to have met him," she said.

Francis, who grew up in Waterhouse, was equal in his praise of the beautiful songbird.

"She has a very special musical talent. In a few years from now, the world will be at her mercy, musically," he said.
