Man accused of stealing board, zinc gets bail extended

Bjorn Burke, Staff Reporter

A man accused of stealing 10 sheets of plyboard and eight sheets of zinc had his bail extended when he appeared in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court Tuesday.

Charged with simple larceny is Anthony White.

The court heard that the complainant, after certain discrepancies were discovered, suspected White was the perpetrator and reported the matter to the police. The goods were alleged to have been later recovered from White's premises.

White had his bail extended by the presiding judge, Resident Magistrate Simone Wolfe-Reece, and is to return to court on July 9 for sentencing.
