Less than two months after being declared King of the Magnum Tonic Wine sponsored talent show, artiste Krushal is already gearing up for a busy summer.

According to the artiste, whose given name is Verron Jarrett, since walking away with one million dollars and the title of Magnum King 2014, the majority of his time has been spent in studio.

"I've been doing a whole lot of work in the studio doing dub plates, etc, I've also been featured on several stage shows in Kingston, Trelawny and St Elizabeth. I've been exercising to keep myself in shape for my performances," the artiste said.

His official winning single, Tek Set, produced by UIM records, is slated to be released later this month, with a video shoot already scheduled for this week. The video will be directed by Asha of FarEye Films.

"I've just been putting in the work and fans can expect many more singles from me by the summer. Mi still a campaign, 'cause yuh haffi put in the work and let people know what you've been up to. You have to keep current," he told THE STAR.

In the meantime, Krushal is also working on a 7-song project which will feature tracks introduced during his stint on 'Magnum Kings and Queens' as well as never before heard singles. He also hopes to secure collaborations with established artistes including Jr Gong, Tarrus Riley and Bugle.

"I wanna collaborate with artistes with substance. I've also never really collaborated with any female artiste so I would work with Candy K in addition to other females in the industry," he said.
