Accused murderer granted bail

The 25-year-old student who has been charged with the murder of her common-law spouse had her previous bail offer of $200,000 again offered in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court on Tuesday.

Rosemarie Taylor from West Road, Kingston 12, is to return to court on July 22, when the matter will be mentioned as the post-mortem report is outstanding.

Taylor's attorney said she was unable to take up the $200,000 bail that was granted by Senior Resident Magistrate Judith Pusey on a previous court date. Allegations are that the accused used a knife to stab Edward Keating during a domestic dispute at their home.

Keating later died and Taylor was subsequently arrested.
