Konfydence eyes Sumfest debut

Performing on a major event like Reggae Sumfest is every artiste's dream.

Laxia Panton aka Konfydence is looking forward to her debut performance on this year's staging of the prestigious reggae festival. She's booked to perform on what has been described as one of the biggest nights in the history of the 20-year-old music festival.

Konfydence will make her appearance inside Catherine Hall on Thursday, July 17.

"I feel honoured and blessed to be a part of the line-up for Reggae Sumfest. It's an amazing feeling to know that I will be performing at such a major event. it's really a dream come true."

The hard working singjay says she plans to make full use of the opportunity to perform on the Sumfest stage.

"Since I launched my career, last year, I have performed on a lot of big events, but this will be the biggest one and I'm really looking forward to it. I want to be a force to be reckoned with in dancehall music and that means I have to make good use of opportunities like these," said Konfydence.

The artiste is confident that she has what it takes to please the Reggae Sumfest audience.

"I know that I have the ability to deliver a good performance at Sumfest. I'm not worried about the size of the crowd that will be there. All I have to do is work hard and prepare to please the crowd. I'm a natural born performer. I always deliver a good performance and I plan to go to Sumfest and deliver my best," said the artiste.

Konfydence is currently promoting a brand new single called Money Hunting.
