Spice's 'So Mi Like It' still on top


Dancehall star Spice is all smiles these days as her mega-hit 'So Mi Like It' has held the number one position on the ER top ten dancehall charts for the last three consecutive weeks.

"It's a great joy to see that the hard work that I have been putting in is being recognised," Spice said.

The video has racked up almost three million views on VEVO.

The sexy dancehall vixen also released a follow-up single called Like A Man, with a gender-bending video which accumulated over 60,000 views in only one week since its release.

"The feedback has been incredible. the fans think the whole dressing like a man thing is creative. they love the new Spice male persona," she said, laughing.

She will perform during Dancehall Night at Reggae Sumfest 2014 at Catherine Hall in Montego Bay, St James in July.

Recently, Spice wowed the fans during the McKay Security Caymanas Park Live Entertainment Series recently, with So Mi Like It getting the biggest response from the Caymanas crowd.

"I mixed and mingled with the crowd, took pictures with people and pulled out some to perform onstage. It was great interaction. I even had women in a dance-off and men betting on them," she added.

She appeared as the fifth artiste of the series following Busy Signal, I-Octane, Tifa and Alkaline.
