Gas price to go up this week

The price of gasolene is to go up by almost two dollars this week. The state-owned oil refinery, Petrojam, on Wednesday, announced a $1.97 increase.

Petrojam says a litre of E10-87 gasolene is to sell for $126.54, while E10-90 is to sell for $128.19.

The prices of all other petroleum products are also to go up.

A litre of automotive diesel oil is to sell for $126.97 per litre, following a $2.17 increase.

The price of kerosene is to go up by $2.50 and will sell for $128.08 per litre.

In the meantime, a litre of propane cooking gas will go up by 58 cents and will sell for $51.77.

The price of butane will move up by 79 cents to $58.48 per litre.

Retailers will add their mark-ups to the announced prices.
