Although the female victim of a recent abduction has returned home, investigators in the St Catherine North Police Division said they have intensified their probe to find those responsible.

The Star was informed that the 19-year-old woman from St Catherine was released by her captors on Thursday, June 19.

It is revealed that she was let off in the Bog Walk town centre.

Reports are that on June 15, about 3 p.m, the victim was at home with her boyfriend.

Armed men went to the premises where it was revealed that when they attempted to enter, one was chopped by the boyfriend.

They managed to enter the house and the male fled and the woman was abducted.
