Frankie Wilmot shoots 'Don't Walk Away' video

Reggae crooner Frankie Wilmot has released a video for his new single, 'Don't Walk Away'.

"It was great fun shooting the video in Jamaica; we did scenes out by Port Royal and other locations in the Corporate Area. Reggae fans are really going to like this new Frankie Wilmot song and the new image," a smiling Frankie Wilmot said.

The video will be officially released to cable and video outlets this week.

Frankie Wilmot, who is known for the 1980s hit reggae remake, Little Green Apples, has continued to record great music over the last two decades, touring Europe and Asia, where he has built up an excellent fanbase.

"This song isthe lead single from my new album, Rude Awakening, which will be released independently later this year. I have been touring and taking time out to raise my family,"FrankieWilmotsaid.

This will be his fifth studio album. The album will feature the aforementioned track and More Than Just a Friend among others.He will be shooting another video during the summer.

"I am very confident that the album will do well, as I have been working with producers such as Barry O'Hare, Rainbow Castle Productions and FAJ Music to make this album a reality. I will also be shooting a video for More Than Just a Friend to reconnect with my old fans and win over new younger ones," he said.
