Multifaceted entertainer Cornelius Grant has recently shot a new movie titled 'Bad Luck'.

Grant, who is also an active recording artiste, actor and music producer, has been in local entertainment for seven years running and has already starred in many dancehall music videos and self-produced movies.

Bad Luck, which features the likes of veteran actor Winston 'Bello' Bell, dancehall star Darrio, and freelance entertainment journalist Roxroy McLean, carries the storyline of a young man who continues to find himself being slapped with life's unwanted circumstances such as impregnating his young girlfriend, unemployment, being wrongfully accused and having a mistaken identity, which led to him being shot.

The movie has cost Grant $1 million and was shot at the Olympic Civil Centre, on Old Hope Road, St Andrew, and several places in downtown and Half-Way Tree.

Despite his cameo appearance, Darrio said he was excited to have played a part and is looking forward to its release. "It was definitely a fun experience. I love to support local movies and it is always good to see young directors stepping up to the plate. The movie is shaping up to be a good one. I am sure my fans will be looking forward to it and I will be using all social-media platforms to help promote it," Darrio said.

Other characters in the movie are main actor Stephan Ledgister, popular comedian Rohan Gunter, recording artistes Angele Smith, Teknique, Kevin 'Janspee' Grant, Majah Bless, Justin Hadeed Awn, and main female actresses Kerine Miller and Ashley Beckford. Bad Luck is scheduled to be released later this year.
