Insight Records recording artiste Konfydence, is happy with the progress of her career.

"I'm pleased with the way things have turned out so far. My career is still in the early stages, but I have achieved and learned a lot already," she said.

The talented beauty from Clarendon launched her career last year after placing third in the Magnum Kings & Queens of Dancehall talent competition.

"Magnum Kings & Queens of Dancehall helped to prepare me for the music business. In the competition, it took a lot of hard work to compete each week with so many talented people. But when you become a professional artiste, it's even harder because you're competing with a lot more people, and some of them are already established and are more experienced than you are," said Konfydence.

Having released a handful of catchy dancehall singles such as Some Bwoy A Bait, Greatest Wine and her latest effort, Money Hunting, Konfydence has made an impression on local Dancehall fans. Her versatility on stage has also helped to endear her to many dancehall supporters.

"I've been doing a lot of hard work and it's paying off. All the long nights in the studio, the rehearsals, campaigning in the streets to promote my music, it's all paying off. Everywhere I go people know me and they know my songs," she said.

Konfydence recently delivered a very strong performance at Kern Spencer's birthday bash in Braes River, St Elizabeth.
