Mr Lexx promotes 'When We Do Road'

Mr Lexx

Mr Lexx is back and is making it clear that he feels that dancehall has changed far too much and for the worse.

The Wine And Dip artiste has had several shows abroad in Trinidad, Colombia, and Guyana, just to name a few, and shared that he does not think these new acts can "make an impact".

"I am not just an artiste, I am an entertainer, and I believe that dancehall music should not just thrive on feuds or hype," Mr Lexx shared. "The music I am putting out as an entertainer and a producer will be music that will have longevity."

Mr Lexx also said that he has several new singles in the pipeline, but he is focused on promoting his new single titled When We Do Road on the High Life rhythm.

The single, produced by Just Us of JA Productions, is described as a club banger and is a fusion of the hip hop and dancehall genres. Mr Lexx also added: "My music has matured over the years, so my sound is different and my lyrics are on point. This new single is very exciting and fun, and I had a good time working with Just Us on this production."

The video for When We Do Road was directed by Terminal 4. "I like working with Terminal 4. they directed the video for Ruggu Ruggu and Wine And Dip as well. they are very creative," he said.

Mr Lexx is also set to make an appearance at a celebrity soccer match in Guyana hosted by French soccer superstar Malouda this month.
