The seventh edition of Jamaica's leg of High School Link-Up will blast-off this Saturday at the old police station in May Pen, Clarendon, with a $50,000 cash prize for the best high school dancer or dance group.

The Temperature Entertainment-produced international party series, which has already 'shell-dung' Toronto, London, and Miami, is one of the most anticipated summer parties in central Jamaica, with hordes of overseas patrons confirmed to pass through.

Temperature Entertainment's Chief Executive Officer (CEO), David Anderson, said the success of High School Link-Up has been exported overseas, and the 2014 Jamaican leg is set to be the biggest ever, with a large number of foreign interests logging on to High School Link-Up's social media sites.

"High School Link-Up is one of Jamaica's most anticipated party right now and has been replicated successfully in London, Toronto, and Miami," declared the temperature entertainment CEO.

"Overseas, fans are riding the party Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook accounts like crazy with likes and favourable comments, so it a go slap weh."

Anderson said reassuringly that patrons at the party dubbed 'The Battle Zone' could look forward to partying in a secure, safe environment, with lots of giveaways, while being entertained by some of the best party sound in the business.

The line-up for this year musical juggling includes Obsession Sound, Gold Teeth, Niney Badness, Slaughter House, Little Riche, and DJ Biggs.

"High School Link-Up is an opportunity for past students to link up and have good, clean, fun with others who they went to school with and also to walk away with $50,000," Anderson said.
