G7 hopeful for the summer

Dancehall artiste G7 is gearing up for a bright summer.

The hard-working deejay is currently in the studio working a number of new projects. "I've been doing a lot of work in the studio and things are coming together nicely. So far, I have recorded some really good tracks that will be released before the end of summer," he said.

G7 is particularly excited about the hard-hitting track titled Hold di Man. "Hold di Man is going to be a big song in the dancehall, all the girls are going to love it. It is currently being mixed, as soon as that is completed, we are going to put it out," he added.

The talented Portmore native who currently resides in New Jersey is working with a number of top producers including Rohan 'Snowcone' Fuller.

"Working with Snowcone in the studio has been a tremendous experience for me. He is a very experienced and creative producer and I've been learning a lot from him. So far, we've worked on a couple of really good tracks together," said G7.

Hold di Man was produced by Terence McDonald for T7G Music and is slated to be released before the end of July.

G7 is currently promoting singles such as Love Yuh Right and Dem A Devil on the Warrior Chief label. Both songs were produced by Jamaica's Champion Jockey, Dane Nelson.
