Downsound recording artiste Naazir is destined to etch his name among the greats in the annals of dancehall music.

Known for his unique vocal style, Naazir has earned quite a reputation among die-hard dancehall fans as a skilled lyricist. The hard-working deejay is getting ready to kick things up a notch or two with a handful of new singles.

His latest efforts include the sizzling hot girl's anthem called Turn Up, featuring Don Husky on Foota Hype's Island Blendz rhythm.

"Since the start of the year, I've been busy working in the studios, as usual. I have a lot of hot new tracks out right now. Turn Up is getting a lot of love from the people, it looks like it's going to be one of the big songs for the summer," he said.

Naazir said a music video for Turn Up is also in the pipeline. "Based on the response the song is getting, my management team is getting ready to shoot a music video for it," said the talented 21-year-old, who is confident that his name will soon be listed amongst the best in dancehall music.

"Hard work is the key to success, as long as I keep recording good songs and put in the ground work I know I will make it all the way to the top. Right now I'm on my way, and nothing can stop me," added the artiste.

Naazir is also promoting two other new singles, Old School Wine on UIM Record's Punjabi rhythm and Nutten Nuh Go So on Downsounds' DSL rhythm.
