Having been a group for about two decades, dancehall group TOK will be giving fans a taste of their daily lives with a new reality TV show, 'TOK: Taking Over'.

Group member Flexx explained it was always their plan to do a reality TV show, but it will finally come to life on CVM TV on July 20 at 9 p.m.

"We want people to understand that it's not easy to be in a group... the ups and downs of being in a group and the dynamics of working together. Allow people to know about Bay-C, Alex, Craig and Flexx," he told THE STAR.

He said filming began in January with producer Carlington Silburn and there is already enough footage for the 13 episodes that will be aired.

"We left it open to shoot during the season. We will never stop shooting, even after the season is done. We even did some shots yesterday, we need to capture as much as possible," Flexx said.

"We have been in the game a long time and we think it's time, to make a big impact again. We feel like, over the years, a lot of people know TOK but a lot of people don't see us. This is like letting people get a one-on-one with each member, letting people know that each of us has a life apart from T.O.K.," he added.

Viewers can look forward to surprises throughout the show, as the group interacts with different persons.

While the show is being aired and filmed, Flexx said they will be doing shows in Japan, Europe, North America and the Caribbean. In addition, he said TOK has new releases, Good Good, God A Guide Wi and Summer Paradise.
