Jah Wayne optimistic about musical career

Fast-rising dancehall artiste Jah Wayne, aka Di Bad West Yute, is very upbeat at about his career.

"Things are looking very positive right now. I'm doing a lot of work in the studios, I've been recording a lot of new songs, and I've also been doing a lot of projects with other artistes," he said.

The multitalented deejay/producer/selector is enjoying much attention with his single A My Life on ZJ Liquid's Good Book rhythm.

"This song is getting a lot of airplay, it is also getting a lot of love in the streets. Fans have been contacting me on Facebook and Twitter about it. It seems as if it could be the song to give me my big break," he said.

Jah Wayne is also promoting a new rhythm on his Jah Wayne Records imprint, called the Rippa, which features songs from a number of artistes, including himself, Charly Black, Rhyme Minista, Teflon, and Dermy Dee.

He also has another new single called Tyad A Da Life Yah on the Nutchie Records imprint.
