Up and coming entertainer Mega C is enjoying the success of his latest single I'm Shining.

The song, featured on Push Hitz Records' Unity Flex rhythm, is steadily gaining traction in Jamaica's party scenes.

I'm Shining plays on the Jamaican slang 'clean', meaning looking good and 'swagged out'.

The song's chorus, "I'm shining/ I'm clean/ Anywhere yuh see mi a red gold and green/ From yuh see di king yuh see di African queen," shows Mega C's mentality that although he's a Rastafarian, it doesn't mean he can't be 'clean'.

Enjoying heavy rotation both locally and overseas, Mega C is very grateful for the support the song has been receiving.

"I've been doing music for a while now and I've finally begun to see my hard work pay off. I'm Shining is picking up all over the place - in Jamaica and also a foreign. Mi love how everything working out right now," he said.

The video for I'm Shining was recently released and has been doing well on YouTube. It is also on rotation on television stations locally.

Mega C said he would continue to put his best foot forward to bring positive music to the masses.

"It's only the best that I try to do when mi guh in the booth to record, suh people can just look out for more good music," he said.
