The name Mr Khool is not yet a household one in Jamaican music. However, the burgeoning dancehall star, who hails from Mandeville, is reputed to be one of the most exciting stage performers among the current crop of new acts.

To date, he has delivered impressive performances on a number of events, including Sting, Full Black, the Jamaica International Kite Festival, and more recently, Kern Spencer's birthday bash, where he earned four encores.

"I'm a natural-born stage performer. Every time I perform on a show, I always get a good response. In the early days I didn't have any songs playing on the radio and I was still able to mash up the shows. Now that I have music out that the fans know, it makes it easier to connect with them," he said.

The soft-spoken deejay will be in action at the Little Ochie Seafood Festival this Sunday at Little Ochie in Alligator Pond, St Elizabeth.

Mr Khool is looking forward to this. "I am ready to perform for my fans in St Elizabeth. I can't wait to touch the stage in Little Ochie. It's going to be total niceness. The fans know what to expect from me. Every time I perform at this event, I always deliver a good show," said Mr Khool, who is currently promoting a new track called Nuh Inna Dat on the Insight Records imprint.
