Contractor blazes on UK trail

Contractor Music Marketing continues to broaden its base while its CEO, Sean 'Contractor' Edwards, is in the UK.

The marketing guru has had to dig into his artistry as he was invited to perform at several events. He performed in Birmingham at Little Richie's birthday party. The event was held at Cobs Bar in the Birmingham City Centre. Little Richie hosts a weekly radio show on Sting FM.

Contractor, also an active reggae recording artiste, was also asked to appear at St Paul's Carnival in Bristol, which is approximately 20 minutes from Wales. The carnival represents Bristol's African-Caribbean culture and Contractor performed on the Ghetto Force sound, which was carried on BBC's Bristol TV.

During his set, the St Ann-based Contractor performed Break My Promise and All I Need, on Tads Label along with Babylon Be Still.

"I was pleased with my performance, which I think received an exceptional reception from the reggae-loving crowd," he said.

The multifaceted Contractor is also using the opportunity to promote artistes from Downsound Records, which he does marketing work for.

So far, the music of Ishawna and Don Husky have been featured by Chris Coxson on his show on New Style Radio in Birmingham. Contractor was also featured on Chris Goldfinger's show in London. Chris Goldfinger is UK's leading reggae and dancehall disc jockey.

Contractor is expected to be on several major reggae festivals in UK and around Europe.
