'Ah wandah if dem hear Fridayz' a great success

Even though it's early days, the 'Ah wandah if dem hear Fridayz' party held at the Olympia Crown Hotel, Molynes Road, St Andrew, is already gathering steam.

Last Friday's event, promoted by Kamala Latouche, the host of 'What a Gwaan' and veteran selector Boom Boom, welcomed a host of patrons from various parts of the Corporate Area, and they were clearly in a party mood,

Boom Boom and supporting DJs Harry Hype and Hotta Rice, gave the crowd a mixture of hardcore and soul food tunes, and they had the 'bruk out' songs for the ladies to 'dash out' for all to see.

Special guests included, Danielle DI and dancers Kreech and MOB and Flexx. The event is also fully endorsed by Portmore artiste Stylysh and Portmore promoter Kelly Upsetter.

Latouche thanked all her co-workers for making the event a success and the patrons, especially artistes like Singing Sweet, New Kids, Bling Dawg, Elite Dancers, Bry Bry and Kibaki. "Boom Boom and I have been friends over the years and he has always wanted to keep a weekly party and I have always desired to keep one for myself, so we came together and planned it and we couldn't have asked for anything better. It was a success and we are looking forward to the next staging of the event," she said.

Patrons can expect a different theme every two weeks, and a host of top radio disc jocks are booked for the event.
