Bjorn Burke, Staff Reporter

A woman accused of breaking a beer bottle and later using it to cut another woman had her bail extended when she appeared before the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court yesterday.

Charged with unlawful wounding is Princess Samuels, who pleaded not guilty.

It is alleged that on the day of the incident, the accused and the female complainant got into an altercation which resulted in Samuels breaking a beer bottle, throwing it in a fit of rage, resulting in the complainant sustaining injuries to her knee.

Subsequently, Resident Magistrate Georgiana Fraser ordered the accused woman to return to court on August 11. A fingerprint order was also made.
