Lady Valy

Canadian reggae artiste Lady Valy recently released her debut album Versatility Talks.

The multi-lingual artiste, who speaks English, French, Spanish and Russian, is confident that her album will be warmly received in various markets across the world. "My album is a diverse mix of various genres and styles that I have fused into a musical melting pot. It's largely reggae but it also has some R&B, some hip hop and some dance music tracks on it, and the songs are done in all the languages I speak. Therefore I expect it to do well all over the world," she said.

According to Lady Valy, she has been getting a lot of positive responses about the album. "I've been getting a lot of positive reactions from fans all over Canada, especially in Vancouver where I live and also from fans in a number of other countries such as the US, Russia and France."

The first single off the album, a thought-provoking reggae track called Haffi Come Back, is also generating a lot of heat.

"This song is doing very well, it's getting a lot of airplay. Several DJs have told me it has the potential to be a big hit, especially in the urban and Latino markets."

Prior to the release of Versatility Talks, Lady Valy also released two mixtapes, Olympic Medal and Livin International.

"I gave out thousands of copies of the mixtapes and they were also released online.

"This helped to create a nice buzz for my album by the time it was released," she said.
