Popular emcee Nuffy will be kept busy this summer with a number of projects he has lined up.

The emcee is promoting his new single, True Friends, a collaboration with childhood friend, Ras Ghandi, who has reconciled with him after severing ties seven years ago.

According to Nuffy, the single has so far racked up more than 600 likes on social-networking site, Facebook.

"Everybody has something good to say about it. The song itself is going on good. The community of Gregory Park is excited over it. It is also creating a buzz in the streets," he said, pointing out that several radio stations have aired the song.

Other upcoming projects for Nuffy include the Magnum All-Star Face-off, August 14, and LIME's Grand Skool Aid set for August 24 at JamWorld, Portmore St, Catherine.

The Magnum All-Star Face-off is expected to run for six consecutive Thursdays and will feature some of Jamaica's most popular celebrities and selectors doing selecting battle.

"I'm expecting it to be bigger and better and filled with more excitement. I'm expecting more from the celebrities and bigger and better from the sound systems. I like that the celebrities can now collect from it and out of it they can give the proceeds to charity," Nuffy said of the weekly clash series.

Nuffy is also excited about LIME's Skool Aid and heaped praises on the major stakeholders for orchestrating the back-to-school event, which is celebrating its fifth anniversary.
