To commemorate an impressive milestone of 25 years in the business, sound system Renaissance Disco will celebrate in fine style on August 9 at the new Mas Camp.

The party dubbed Monument will feature several guest artistes and guest DJs.

According to Renaissance Disco's Delano 'Dilly T' Thomas, the party will culminate the sound system's 25-year existence and showcase its current crop of selectors.

"We have a lot in store for patrons, so everyone needs to come out and join in the fun. Presold tickets will automatically be entered into a draw for a chance to win a free trip to New York courtesy of Fly Jamaica," Thomas shared.

Having built up an enviable reputation since its inception, the award-winning Renaissance has kept patrons entertained both locally and internationally.

Known for its remixes, the sound system was the first such Jamaican entity to be featured on BET in the late 1990s.

Its spin-off Renaissance label has produced numerous hits for some of the biggest names in the business. On the promotion side, Renaissance has successfully promoted events including the All White Christmas Eve party and Delano's Revenge, among others.

Monument is an event not to be missed as a number of the sound system's friends and associates, including entert- ainers, will be coming out to celebrate.

Among those billed to perform are Renaissance, Coppershot, Stone Love, DJ Lank (Code Red) and special guest DJ Babey Drew (Chris Brown's DJ) who is featured in the reality show, Love and Hip Hop, on VH1.
