Woman on stabbing rap gets bail extension

A woman accused of stabbing another woman in the shoulder had her bail extended in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court yesterday.

Charged with wounding with intent is Lisa Ann Lee, who pleaded not guilty.

Allegations are that on the day of the incident, following a brief altercation between Lee and the female complainant, Lee reportedly used a scissors to stab her in the region of her shoulder, causing injuries.

"What kind of injury you got?" asked Resident Magistrate (RM) Georgiana Fraser.

"I got a stab to the upper shoulder by a scissors," replied the complainant.

Directing her attention to the accused, RM Fraser asked: "Are you denying that Miss Lee?"

"Not guilty, Your Honour," Lee sternly remarked.

Subsequently, the accused woman had her bail extended and was ordered to return to court on September 22, pending an outstanding medical report. A fingerprint order was also made.
