Olympia Crown Hotel's Karaoke Wednesdays a hit

Karaoke Wednesdays at the Celeb nightclub located at the Olympia Crown Hotel has been a hit with patrons since its inception a few months ago, and a recent visit by THE STAR, proved the event's appeal.

MC Fresh, who hosts his own karaoke, teamed up withKevin Charisma, who didShaggy's Angel to a roar from patrons.Lady Renee hit the right notes with her selection It Kills. Kebo, a karaoke veteran, pelted lyrics from Call Me Al, whileJason Brown, a recording artiste, sang A Great Big World.

Kamala Latouche, one of the promoters, had this to say: "Karaoke at the Olympia Crown Hotel has been running for three months now and it is one of the biggest, if not the biggest, karaoke in Kingston and St Andrew on a Wednesday night. We get a lot of support from other karaoke host such as MC Fresh, Keiki, Minori Russell, and Rohan, among others, plus the frequent karaoke singers and non singers."

Every week, a cash prize of $5,000 is given to the best singer on the night. Each week, there is also a surprise guest act.
