High hopes for Lee'tal's 'Dubplate Style'

Mandeville-based producer and deejay, Lee'tal, released his brand new mixtape, Dubplate Style, recently and it is one, he says, music lovers will thoroughly enjoy.

"The concept for this project came about when I linked up with the King Chaplin, so I got in the Inflomatiq and laid down the tracks on 11 old school and new-school dancehall instrumentals," he said.

For the artiste/producer, it is a labour of love as he said it is his gift for reggae/dancehall fans worldwide.

Among the featured tracks are In The Head, a song whichalludes to the most important person in one's life; Ring The Alarm fetauring Tenor Saw's voice and Represent, which pays homage to his hometown.

Born in Clarendon, Lee migrated to Boston in 2006. Nine months later, he gave up his 9-to-5 job and returned to Jamaicato pursue his music dream.

Among the artistes Lee'tal has produced are Terry Linen, Hezron and Warrior King.

With his mixtape now out, it is on to more positive recordings as he goes about the business of pushing upcoming talents in Mandeville as well as taking his brand to the world.
