DJ Sunshine's 'Wul Dem' blazing the airwaves

Irie FM radio disc jock and music producer, DJ Sunshine, is blazing the summer with the rhythm that is pure liquid lava, the unquenchable 'Wul Dem'.

The bouncy and gritty rhythm is as unstoppable as it is irresistible and with a summer that is hot like lava, the Wul Dem is the only elixir specially designed to quench the heat in unique way. With mega heat pitching from the man himself, I-Octane and delectable goodies from other big names in the dancehall, mainly Mavado, Vybz Kartel and Alkaline, things are bubbling and on the verge of boiling over.

I-Octane creates the perfect storm to ride out this scorching rhythm with the in-your-face, totally unapologetic single,We Run The Flipping Placeand Mavado'sDuh Weh Yuh Wantis a statement that is just as potent. Enter incarcerated dancehall superstar, Vbyz Kartel, bearing a sign that says,Nuh Play Round Wid Fyah and symbolism meets reality in a spectacular fashion. And, not to be outdone is Alkaline, in his typical fearless and hypnotic manner with a single featuring Ikel Marvlus, in which he calls out "ole centipede and all di claffie dem".

The songs are enjoying rotations on radio, at dancesand clubs. "Everybody a Wul Dem fi di summer," is how one popular disc jock enthusiastically described the gravitational pull of the rhythm, which was produced for Yellow Moon Records.

DJ Sunshine, while being pleased with thefurnace that has been created, admits that she is a bit in awe of the speed at which Wul Dem has penetrated the marketplace. "From conception, I could feel the irresistible pull and energy of this riddim and I knew that the Wul Dem would be big, but this is just ridiculously massive," she declared.
