QQ to take stage on BET's 106 & Park

Fresh from a recent feature in the international music publication Fader Magazine, dancehall artiste QQ is again set to tap into the international mainstream.

On August 27 (5 p.m. local time), he will perform on BET's flagship video show, 106 & Park.

In a release, QQ shared the good news. "I'm elated, it's most certainly a pleasure to reach such a milestone in my career like this because, this is a dream for a lot of youths including me, and its now becoming a reality. So what it tells us as youths is to continue to work hard towards your dream and never give up or give in to weak-minded people that come with negatives. Just trust in God and it will happen," said QQ.

QQ will be interviewed by the show's host, American rapper Bow Wow. He will also perform Stookie and One Drop.

As a lead up to the BET appearance, QQ has a tight media schedule within the New York area. He will be profiled in an extensive feature by the Sean Combs-owned Revolt TV (the network will accompany him on the road to track his daily routine for a week); and he will also be interviewed in an extensive feature for an upcoming issue of Fader Magazine.

Additionally, QQ will be interviewed on the Hot 97FM morning show, and he will make a guest appearance at the station's personality DJ Magic's Press Car Show event in Manhattan. He will also be interviewed on Sirius Radio by veteran broadcaster Pat McKay and then head to Large Up Radio for an interview. His schedule also includes stops at Irie Jam radio and Linkup radio.

After his BET appearance, QQ will perform in the US, the Caribbean and Europe. This weekend, he has a show that will also feature Sean Paul, in Canada.
